Fourteen participants lie face down on the street where they block traffic and proceed to pound the pavement with the microphone one thousand times. The sound of each person’s actions is amplified through an amplifier. Each person can choose their own rhythm and intensity.
The performance was part of C'est arrivé près de chez vous at the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec (curator Nathalie de Blois) January 17, 8-11pm.
